Daruma Advisors is a one-person firm by design. There are specific domains where my experience, knowledge and availability are a perfect fit. But, sometimes my clients need more than I can provide. In those cases I have built multiple partnerships to either augment my delivery capabilities or even take on the effort themselves. Additionally, each of these partners is able to add me to their teams when a need for my skills arises.

Product jobs are often more complex than other roles, Using influence and negotiation instead of authority can be a challenge to new leaders. However, it is more than that. Product leaders also need to have a diverse almost athletic skillset to meet the needs of many internal and external stakeholers. There is no manual and I have found coaching and mentoring these roles to be a major boost to personal and team development.
